HTC Puccini Seen in The Wild!! AT&T and LTE on Board!

If you have been following our blog you know that Kidromulous and I are eagerly anticipating the release of the HTC Puccini, you can read about it here and here. Now thanks to a leak on Engadget we have pictures and spec confirmations for you and all I can say is WOW!

The Puccini will be coming to AT&T very soon, it is already in testing and will drop before the end of the year. The big news of course is this little logo on the back. The Puccini will be the first tablet on AT&T that sports a 4G LTE radio for their brand new network.

This tablet will also be sporting specs in line with what we reported to you already. The Puccini will sport a 1.5GHz dualcore Snapdragon processor, Android Honeycomb OS, an 8MP rear camera with flash, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, and a 10" screen. Now if you are on AT&T and in the market for a tablet, i don't think it is going to get any better then this!!

HTC's London Event to Include Rubies and Tablets!!??

HTC has been with Android since day one and if you follow our blog you know that the Korean company has some big things on the way from tablets to smartphones. Now HTC has just announced an event on its Facebook page scheduled for Thursday September 1st in London, England. Now just what could this even be about?

First in foremost this event is open to anyone 18 and older who can attend and RSVP before the event fills up. Now the announcement doesn't specify exactly what the event is for but the rumor mills is suggesting that both the upcoming Puccini tablet and the HTC Ruby smartphone could be unveiled here. The Puccini is the highly anticipated 10" dualcore tablet we wrote about here and the Ruby is an awesome looking 4.3" dualcore smart phone, details are here. Now HTC could just be having this event to announce a new version of Sense( which is definitely not a bad thing). However will all these great devices set to drop it would make sense that HTC will be announcing something sexy with dual cores! So free food, drink and the chance to see HTC drop their newest piece of tech? Sounds like a party to me!

I Want HTC Puccini And So Should You! Surnamed Jetstream on ATT

Well let me first say PocketNow is one of the best spot on the webs for Android leaks and info and they have done it again today announcing that the HTC Puccini will be called the Jetstream on AT&T and on top of that they released some screen shot leaks. Why do I love idea of the Puccini so much? It's going to be the baddest tablet on the planet with a dual core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor. Yes we reported yesterday that the Quad Core Kal-El rocking Eepad 2 is otw but Puccini is much closer at hand. The screen shots reveal a new interface and and version of Honeycomb that has some Sense elements. Now I know some of you are not fans of the Sense UI but I happen to love it and think it will be marvelous on a tablet. A lot of folks think there is no room for HTC in the tablet game and even have claimed the Puccini is doomed to fail. I tend to disagree. I believe the tablet game especially regarding honeycomb is still wide open. The Xoom didn't do it and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a case of bad timing in my honest opinion. The specs will just be dated by the fourth quarter and Puccini might give us something to cheer about as we wait on the next generation of Tegra 3 tablets. It is after all a 10 incher with a dual core 1.5 Snapdragon GHz processor. Look for it before the end of 2011. Me personally ... I cannot wait.
