Samsung Conquer Coming To Sprint August 21

Samsung Conquer Brings High End Quality A Low End Price

On the heels of the news of retirement of several Sprint handsets including the legendary EVO 4G the news of a new 4g device on Sprint is actually good to hear. The Samsung Conquer is no slouch either. Boasting Wimax radios along with Samsung's build quality (camera, display etc) is a definite bonus for those who have shallow wallets right now. Lot's of good things are happening the week of August 21 (i was born on the 23rd for example :)) and this ranks right up there as one of the big ones. Samsung is going to have a great month keep in mind the Samsung Within Galaxy S2 variant will be coming around the same time as this little phone. Anyhow let me give you some specifications:

100 bucks on a 2 year contract ($99)
Sprint 3G/4G wimax radios
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS capable
Micro SD card slot up to 32 GB
3G/4G mobile hotspot
Stereo Blue Tooth wireless
1GHZ cpu
3.5 inch HVGA touch screen
Android 2.3 out of the box
Swype out of the box

I'll likely be grabbing one of these for the other Android user in my household when it drops. Affordable and powerful you can't beat that for an entry level offering. More to come on any new releases coming our way and we'll be taking a real close look at the Samsung Galaxy SII releases coming to all major carriers.
